La Conner Memorial Bench Program

Memorial benches are a welcome addition, almost anywhere in La Conner, in our Parks or most anywhere in town. To make it simple to order one, Public Works and Parks Commission have a few steps that will make this opportunity easy for anyone to complete.  

The benches will all be from the same manufacturer, Tournesol Siteworks.  Their website is www.tournesol.com  and their phone number is 1-800-542-2282.  They will be the same Forest Green in color, powder coated steel, which will continue to look good in this environment for a very long time. The plaques will be the responsibility of the buyer to research, purchase and coordinate with Tourensol, and will be installed by the bench manufacturer.

To keep this easy, after contacting Public Works Director, Brian Lease, to tell him your plans, he will direct you to Tournesol Siteworks to purchase the bench directly from them and have it shipped to Public Works. The bench model PZ-01C00 Plaza Collection comes in three sizes, 4’, 5’ and 6’ and will be installed at a mutual site, determined by you and Town, on a poured concrete pad, for an additional nominal cost of between $100 and $250, based on the placement.
