La Conner's Finance Department works to provide the highest quality financial management and accountability within the means of the department.
The La Conner Fire Department (LCFD) has served our community for over 100 years.
In May of 2001, the Town of La Conner began to contract law enforcement services with the Skagit County Sheriff's Office. Prior to that time, La Conner managed its own police department.
Planning, Permits & Codes
The Planning Department plans, organizes and coordinates all planning activities for the Town, including developing and implementing land use policies and procedures. This includes reviewing permit applications and conducting historic design, shoreline and critical area reviews.
La Conner's Public Works department uses proactive strategies to anticipate needs and address the infrastructure before they become a problem.

La Conner's wastewater facilities serve the Town of La Conner, Swinomish Tribal Community (Village), Port of Skagit County and Skagit County Sewer District No. 1 (Hope Island Area).
