Frequently Asked Questions

The Town's parking lot is located one block south of Town Hall and requires a parking fee from 8am-6pm. For cars, light trucks, and vans the parking fee is $5.00 per day. Recreational vehicles, heavy trucks, and buses the parking fee is $9.00 per day. No overnight parking. No parking fees after 6pm.

The Port of Skagit County maintains a lot two blocks north of Morris Street at the corner of Second & State Streets, and requires a $5.00 per day fee and a $7.00 per day fee for oversized vehicles.

There is street and other designated parking available throughout the Town that does not require a fee.

Parking citations may be issued if you are parked illegally. Fines vary depending on the offense. There is a 50% reduction if the fine is paid within 24 hours.

Parked cars are only an issue when they are inoperable or parked on a street right-of-way longer than 72 hours.

The Town of La Conner provides moorage at Benton, Calhoun and Washington Street end floats. Visitor Moorage is available on a short-term basis to visiting boat owners and charter vessels. No commercial boat access is available. We do not do reservations for moorage. Our rates are $0.75 per foot per day for moorage inside or outside the float. We do not have hourly rates for moorage. Payments can be made via the credit card kiosks located at each float. Larger vessels (over 45 feet) should call ahead to Town Hall for permission before docking at the Benton Street end float.

Yes! The Town of La Conner has a charging station with two spots at 1st Street & Washington Street next to the La Conner Waterfront Café. The fee is $1.00 per hour. Our charging station is part of the ChargePoint Network.  For additional information including availability status click here.
